Here at Mission Golf Cars, we are the One Stop Shop for your golf car/light utility vehicle Sales, Service, Parts, Rental and Leasing needs. We are a family-owned business with over 40 years of experience serving South Central Texas areas and the largest EZGO/Cushman dealer in the country for the last several years. We are on the move north and need help capturing business in and around Austin up into DFW. Let us know where you live in the Central Texas area and we can see if it’s a good fit for both.

Mission Golf Cars is looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative to help us keep growing. If you're dedicated and ambitious, Mission Golf Cars is an excellent place to land. A lot of this is because we are a lower pressure, but with expectations, employer and our core employees have established working relationships as well as friendships with our customers. Our ideal candidate needs to be a self-starter, motivated, organized, and hard-working.

This role is responsible first and foremost for selling our product lines through B2B sales as well as presenting B2B leasing options. Secondary to this is retail sales help wherever you are and helping to capture more parts/service business. If you call on a ministorage that has a golf cars and they don’t need one offer service/parts kind of thing. Service usually leads to sales. Trade shows, cold calls, neighborhood events, friend of a friend or come up with something out of the box to help grow sales is what will be needed to make the sale. This is yours to make your own within reason.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing incredible customer service, both in person and over the phone, by customers’ requests, being energetic and empathetic with situations and striving to meet each customer’s expectations and needs. Not saying customer is always right but lets talk about it.
  • Facilitate the entire sales process from initial contact to delivery and make sure communication is consistent to customer and company
  • Research and understand our product line and be familiar with each product line that we sell, there are a few.
  • Knows how to market our business and themselves as to why the customer picks our proposal over the competition. Social media posting will be required because it helps sell golf cars and that’s what we do.
  • Takes active ownership in the customer service role, not just a sale and moves on.
  • Establishes objectives and goals with management and work together to meet those objectives. We don’t succeed if you don’t so we are here for you. Don’t have all the answers but we can work together to find them.
  • Communicates effectively and professionally with co-workers and managers, relaying all information affecting sales, market trends, and conditions.
  • Utilizes all tools we have including employees to help you in your sales process. Don’t have what you need, let's talk and figure out what will help.
  • Maintains intimate knowledge of products offered by the company and its competitors.
  • Develop relationships with our manufactures and resources as brands, products, and services. Sometimes it helps to have a factory representative there to back us up.
  • Maintains integrity, honesty, and core values of the JRE Golf Cars, LLC family throughout the process.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a passion for sales and being around people. Be energetic and responsive.
  • A two or four-year degree is preferred, and/or 3 to 5 years’ experience in outside sales is required. Commercial/Golf outside sales experience would be preferred but not required.
  • Experience with the golf cart industry is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to quickly learn about key selling features and benefits.
  • Experience in Outlook, Excel and Windows based software is critical to success.
  • Good communication and organizational skills are required.

  • Work hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm; some Saturdays may be required.

Work Environment:

  • Continuous interaction with customers and co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Typical motions include repetitive walking, bending and lifting, loading and unloading trucks. If you are doing a unit demo you will be using a truck and small trailer and will need to be able to handle this on your own
  • Responsible for moving and lifting an average of 1-25 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 35 pounds rarely.
  • May be exposed to various allergens. Lots of cedar in Texas and shops are dusty.
  • Work involves frequent use of a computer and telephone.
